Dragon flying over kingdoms
Fable

The Fable of Dragon - Benefactor

Freedom and Consequence

There was a dragon flying across all kingdoms. It flew where it wanted, and wherever it went, prosperity followed

Legends were that those who chained the dragon would control the world and outcomes. yet for a long time, nobody tried to capture it out of kindness of to live the creature with free will or out of fear of putting chains on hurricane.

But times changed. Kingdoms changed.

After few centuries human ambition grew bigger than their fear. The Kings and their advisors realized that the dragon was leaking life which can be bottled. soon they all created a small army to capture the dragon and to have control over that.

After some years of trials the dragon was captured. things changed drastically. The change wasn't explosive. It was quiet.

suddenly, everyone had time. Slowly and steadily, everything became so easy and accessible that humans grew still.

People lived longer and longer due to the dragon's grace. But there was a small group who started questioning this new reality as they lived toward eternity. They began to feel as if they were in a warm, comfortable trap.

When you have eternity to paint a picture, you never actually pick up the brush. When you know your friends will never die, you stop visiting them because there's always "tomorrow." The urgency evaporated. The world didn't become a violent dystopia; it became a giant waiting room.

They realized that they are basically trapped in the will of who control the chains of dragon. they were basically in simulation of dystopia. They concluded that the main purpose of humanity was a free will and a society with distraction not a dystopian world.

Stillness was never the core of humanity.
Falling and rising was.

It was not only the dragon that was chained.
